Nathan’s Gear

My brother and business partner says I should use the song from Johnny Cash (I’ve Been Everywhere Man, I’ve Been Everywhere) as background music for this gear list page. I laughed because as much hunting as I have been able to do, I certainly have not been everywhere.  I have a long list of faraway places I still want to hunt.

Just as I have not been hunting everywhere, I also have not tried every piece of gear available today. I have however tried a fair amount and have strong opinions about the gear I have chosen to use. These days it is difficult to find a Hardcore Hunter’s gear list of preference that is truthful. Most well known hunters are sponsored to the hilt and must promote gear they are being paid to advertise.

In an industry that you don’t always get what you pay for, this list alone can save you a lot of aggravation and an amount of money not to be laughed at.

By looking at my list you will quickly realize that I am not sponsored.  I also want to note that I am not claiming this as the best gear because that is always subjective to the user. I am by nature a perfectionist and will accept nothing except the highest performance out of my gear. I will update the list when I personally test a product and use it for myself that I feel is worthy to make the cut.

This is GREAT equipment and works really well for me.
